Description
Infrared features
The Thermapen IR Blue Bluetooth infrared thermometer with probe has a target ratio of 5:1, so the thermometer should be positioned as close to the target as possible for accurate readings. The default emissivity is 0.95, but it can be adjusted between 0.1 and 1.0.
Use the mode button to view max/min infrared readings.
Probe features
Complete fast and reliable health and safety checks with the Thermapen Bluetooth infrared thermometer. With a high accuracy of ±0.4 °C, the Thermapen IR Blue will measure internal temperatures in just three seconds. It is also provided with a FREE traceable calibration certificate so you can be confident in the accuracy of your readings.
The thermometer features a patented, automatic 360° rotational display together with a motion-sensing sleep mode when the penetration probe is left open. This automatically turns the instrument on/off when set down or picked up, maximising battery life.
Custom software available
A Software Developer Kit (SDK) is available upon request to allow integrators to write custom apps to communicate with the Thermapen IR Blue.
Please Note: New display features are only available when using the latest Software Development Kit. BLE 5.0 thermometers have a range of 50 metres depending on the user's smart device make and model. Environmental conditions may also affect the signal strength.
